single irish chain quilt

A single Irish chain! Though it is not clear, click on the pics and zoom in. Each plain large yellow square had the outline of a farm animal on it. A cow, cat dog, chicken, duck, pig and donkey are stitched for an effect! Homemade gifts are the best! Flannel on the back for softness, my tag put in the corner on the back! Happy baby~

That is such a BEAUTIFUL quilt! I have been looking for an XL twin size quilt for so long, but all I seem to find is cheap c^@p...stuff that starts falling apart the first time you wash it. The thread of the quilting starts breaking. Then, the filling starts clumping up until you have a mass of clumps that are only pleasant to the dogs. Think I'm going to have to go to one of the quilting shows I see now and then. Hopefully, someone will have made one for an XL twin. GORGEOUS work...all your work is.
